Once again Montengarde hosts Samhain, a time to feast, a time to fight, and a time to choose new champions.
Come and let your voices rise as the new Champion of Bards is elevated to the ranks of Wild Rose of Montengarde.
Come and let your blades sing and challenge the new Champion of Rapier as they become the new Dragonblade of Montengarde.

There will be an archery tournament.
There will be Arts & Sciences and Youth Activities.
And of course, when all is said and done: A succulent feast of foods from around the Knowne World prepared by Baron James.
For those wishing to participate in Archery, the Barony of Montengarde will be covering your range fees.

Pre-Registration is not strictly required but does make the arrival & check-in process much faster and in the event of the feast selling out, preference will be given to those with Feast Reservations (in the order in which they were recieved).

The Highland Park Community Hall is located at 3716 2nd St NW, Calgary, directly between Centre Street and 4th Street NW.
Parking is located on the North side of the building. Please be mindful of and repect any ‘Reserved’ signs.
At this time we are unsure of any neighbourhood street parking rules that may be in effect during the event.
Please read and heed any City of Calgary parking control signs that you see.
There are multiple Bus Routes running on the surrounding major streets.

Feast is going to be set either as 12 or 13 tables of 6 plus our Honoured Guests at Head Table.
Please, only Gentles that have paid for Feast can sit at a designated Feast Table.
There will table space provided for those Gentles that are joining us for an ‘Off Board’ meal.
In Avacal tradition, we will be asking for one Gentle from each table to deliver each Remove from the kitchen.
Lunch Will Happen… We’re Just Not Sure How Yet!
At this time, nobody has stepped forward to offer to run the Lunch Counter.
This is a great opportunity to fund raise for your Special Interest Group and the Feast Team will will ensure that reasonable cooking space is made available to you during the morning prior to Lunch.
If nobody has vounteered by October Council (Wednesday 10/15) then James Douglas and Team will prepare and serve lunch and donate any proceeds raised to the “Buy New Serving Dishes For Montengarde” project that was featured at September Tavern.
