Frequently Asked Questions
- So this is a vote?
Nope! A polling is intended to assess the support each candidate has from the populace of the Barony. Based upon those comments, other considerations, and a variety of factors, the final decision is solely the decision of the Crown. - What if I can’t make it out to meet the candidates? Is there another way to contact them?
Emails will be set up for the candidates soon after the submissions deadline. - I don’t live in Montengarde but I have strong feelings about the polling. Can I still be heard?
As per the Kingdom of Avacal Baronial POolling Process (2017), polling forms will be made available to:
– Paid SCA members residing within the Barony’s postal code range
– Baronial officers
– Baronial Sergeantry (Sergeants, Yeoman, Gallants, Courtiers, Wardens) who are SCA members
– Other input may be submitted in writing via email, postal mail, or in person - Who gets to see these polling forms?
Only the Crown and Their immediate Heirs. Two persons from outside the Barony will represent the Crown and the Seneschalate will be at Samhain to oversee the collection of the polling forms there but their responsibility is just the collection and bundling it up for the Crown. - Where can I find the documents?
There is a directory in our documents section: Baronial Polling Nov 2025.
Those who have sent their intentions to the Crown.
