A timeline has been approved by Their Majesties and we’ve talked a little to Their Highnesses, so we should have all dates nailed down soon enough. Meanwhile, for those interested in learning more about being Baron or Baroness, please do ask questions of myself and other past B&Bs. The deadline for declaring your intentions is April 3rd; please send your letter of intent and SCA resume to Their Majesties and Heirs before the deadline.

- April 14 – 16: In Person Meet & Greet / Polling (depending on availability)
- April 14 – 24: Online Polling
- May 30: Official Announcement
- July 18: Dragonslayer + Baronial Step Up
At Winter Crown Court, it was announced that the Baronial Polling process has been cleaned up some in the wording and changed from policy to Avacal Law pending Royal Signatures. The final copy has been posted to the Avacal Documents.
Dragonslayer update – We have seen one bid so far. We are open to other bids but they need to be in before the 2nd Monday of March.
Finally, a reminder – even though Montengarde will not have courts of it’s own until the elevation of the next Baronials, Their Majesties are still looking for recommendations for members of our populace, particularly Awards of Arms. We have many new folk and folk who have been playing for a while not yet recognized. If there is someone who is part of you community, be it general or a specific one like archery or fencing or the arts or armoured combat, yet to be recognized for such, then please write some recommendations!
