Largesse is an opportunity to celebrate the artisans of the kingdom, to reward the service of many, and to welcome newcomers and visitors from afar!
The lists below are far from exhaustive and is only intended as a guideline for items being sought during this reign. if you have some other ideas, please contact Their Excellencies for a chat about them.
Currently seeking items along the following lines:
- bags and pouches for carrying other items
- belt lanyards
- drinking vessels
- sewing kits
- armor repair kit items
- A&S materials (yarn, trim, pre cut leather kit, those period mini scissors, simple starter kits for blackwork, starter scribal tools, etc.)
- hats & coifs
- items that can be attached to drinking vessels to mark them (i.e. a charm that can be tied to a tankard)
- simple games like Nine Man’s Morris or Fox & Geese
- Books that fit within SCA themes
- seed beads that can be used to construct other items and awards
- youth oriented items such as –
- teen sized wrist bracers
- minor jewelry charms
- materials for youth combat weapons
- child oriented items such as –
- felted wool balls
- wooden toys
- finger puppets
- SCA themed coloring pages
Please avoid items along these lines
- candles (tend to melt at camping events, often aroma issues)
- items with strong scents
- perishables
- items that are fragile or easily broken UNLESS they come with their own packaging
- baskets
- alcoholic beverages
- noisemakers
