{"id":3548,"date":"2019-08-13T16:47:34","date_gmt":"2019-08-14T00:47:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montengarde.org\/Welcome\/?p=3548"},"modified":"2019-08-13T16:47:34","modified_gmt":"2019-08-14T00:47:34","slug":"accepting-applications-for-seneschal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montengarde.org\/Welcome\/2019\/08\/13\/accepting-applications-for-seneschal\/","title":{"rendered":"Accepting applications for Seneschal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hear Ye, hear ye!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My time as your Seneschal is\nnearing its end.&nbsp; My term officially ends\nin March of 2020.&nbsp; With that in mind,\nthough there is already a candidate in place in my current deputy, Their\nExcellencies any myself are now accepting Letters of Intention and SCA Resumes\nfor the Office of Seneschal until December 1, 2019.&nbsp; This allows time for the chosen applicant to\nbecome a deputy to the Seneschal, and learn the requirements of the office.&nbsp; I will stay on as deputy for a time, as\nrequired, to lend help as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Duties and expectations of this office include (but not\nlimited to):<br>\n\u2022 Hold a current SCA membership, and maintain membership for term in\noffice&nbsp;<br>\n\u2022 Checking and replying to emails on a regular basis&nbsp;<br>\n\u2022 Be honest, professional and responsible in your dealings with everyone,\nincluding members of the populace, subordinate and superior officers, and\nmembers of the modern world&nbsp;<br>\n\u2022 Oversight of all branch officers&nbsp;<br>\n\u2022 Becoming a member of the Financial Committee&nbsp;<br>\n\u2022 Be the legal business representative of the Barony of Montengarde&nbsp;<br>\n\u2022 Sign and be responsible for all contracts in relation to the day to day\nrunning of the Barony, and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Ensure activities within the Barony are done pursuant\nto the requirements of all modern laws, SCA Corpora, Kingdom law, and Baronial\npolicies.<br>\n\u2022 &nbsp;Support and help the Baronial Council<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 File monthly reports to Montengarde Council&nbsp;<br>\n\u2022 File Quarterly reports to Kingdom of Avacal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are interested in filling this position please send\na letter of intention, and a copy of your SCA resume (Mundane resumes will be\naccepted to provide valid experience to the office) to\nexcellencies@montengarde.org and <a href=\"mailto:seneschal@montengarde.org\">seneschal@montengarde.org<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<br>\nFeel free to contact Their Excellencies or the Seneschal if you have any\nquestions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hear Ye, hear ye!
