Come fight with us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.montengarde.org\/Welcome\/activities\/fight-practice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Rapier practice<\/strong><\/a> in Montengarde takes place once a week, on Thursday evenings at 6:30-9:00pm as part of the barony\u2019s weekly fight practice\/community gathering. We can be found at The <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/oRNNvdKMg2csadHR6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rehabilitation Society of Calgary<\/a> (right near the Bridgeland LRT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like the rest of Montengarde, we are an anti-racist, pro-LGBTQIA2S+ group and warmly welcome and affirm all newcomers who attend in the spirit of friendship, inclusivity and camaraderie with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No experience is required, and you are not required to dress in a costume to attend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please wear long pants or a long skirt\/dress with leggings underneath, close-toed shoes and a long-sleeved shirt (a jacket or hoodie is fine) and we will figure out the rest as we go based on your needs and our safety requirements!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We hope to see you there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Allert, Captain of Rapier<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"mailto:rapier@montengarde.org\">rapier@montengarde.org<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you interested in learning how to fence with a steel rapier, dagger, cloak, buckler, sabre, spear, and\/or two-handed sword?
