The baronai polling is a means by which the opinions of the populous of the barony are gathered for consideration by Their Majesties, the King and Queen of Avacal. These opinions are there to help Their Majesties in their choice of who is to become the next Baron and Baroness of Montengarde.

The following dates are important for the baronial polling process:
- September 2nd – Deadline for Baronial Candidates to declare themselves to the Crown
- September 6th – Montengarde website to publish candidate information (SCA Resume and a statement of introduction)
- September 8th – Meet the Candidates (at fight practice)
Just a casual opportunity for some face to face. - September 11th – Online Q&A 1pm – 3 pm
- September 15 to 22 – Online polling forms made available to those who are unable to attend the in person polling
- September 22nd – In Person Polling (at fight practice)
- November – Crown to announce the Baronial Succession
- January 20th – Baronial Changeover
