Once again we are planning to march in the Parade of Wonders!
Friday 26 April 2024, gathering by 10 am so that we can be sorted out (likely with other Historical groups)
- Watch for YELLOW VESTED organizers to help out).
- The Parade should last between 10:30 am – 11:15 am, ending at Olympic Plaza for the opening ceremony.
- Weather forecast suggests partly cloudy and chilly, so embrace the wonders of wool and layered garb!
- We will be following Expo Props Policy so shields, armor, and banners are great but let’s leave the swords and rattan at home. The Calgary Police get the final say on weapons and weapon simulators so let’s make it an easy day for them.
- It’s downtown Calgary so Transit is the recommended way of making it to the parade. Of all the days to be in garb on the C-Train, this is the one!
